Wow, we loved our stay and don't want to leave. This house met and exceeded all our expectations. The children loved the very warm pool and the fishing dock right in their very own backyard. Excellent neighbourhood. No complaints at all. We would definitely rent this house again. Thanks for a very wonderful, relaxing vacation filled with memories.

The property has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation.. It has a heated pool (included in the villa rental) and immediate access to a canal which is moments away from the river taking you to the Gulf of Mexico, ideal for boaters and fishermen. A small beach is a short walk away as is the local Boathouse eating venue. A car is essential to enable access to restaurants and shops/malls. It comes highly recommended.

We've used this management company on three occasions now in the last 12 months. The villa we previously rented was unavailable (How dare the owners decide to move back in permanently in that one!) On this most recent trip so we asked Keely what was available and this one was highlighted. We stayed approx four weeks and had no problems with the villa. It is situated great for those who may have/ or rent a boat as access to the open river and main waterways is very close. (Some locations in Cape Coral you may spend 20 minutes chugging at 5kts to get anywhere near this position) Having said that, we didn't use a boat on this occasion but I would recommend it if you do. No one seems to walk anywhere in the US but we found this villa was within easy walking distance (10 mins) of a small beach over looking the main waterway. (Cape Coral Yacht Club) There was also the Boathouse restaurant/ bar there which became a regular haunt as I didn't have to drive there to see the fantastic sunsets and have a few beers. The beach was very clean and would suit families with young kids who maybe didn't want a long day at one of the Gulf beaches. The main beaches, Fort Myers/ Sanibel Island etc are between 25 and 40 minutes drive away depending on traffic. However this location is about as good as you're going to get to reach the main access roads and the bridge over the river towards Fort Myers. Most of the local restaurants aren't too far away either. 4 to 5 minute drive, or about a 1.5 mile walk. As for the Villa it's at the end of a cul de sac, has no passing vehicle traffic, large comfortable rooms, big TV, and the kitchen has everything you'll need. I spent a lot of time drinking beer and catching fish off the decking area out back, or lounging around in the sun on one of the very cushioned loungers (They're usually so hard/ nasty in many villas!) The pool is a good size too. I think you'd benefit from this villa more if you have a boat, but we enjoyed our stay a lot and will be returning. As for this management company, we didn't experience any problems, (nor have we with previous rentals) however Keely was calling with advice and updates re an imminent hurricane which luckily stayed out of reach. It was that kind of thing which leads you to believe they are looking out for your interests. (I have experienced some quite indifferent management companies on prior visits to Cape Coral) So yes, I'd recommend a stay here. Only please try and avoid any dates that I want to return!!! (Oh and before I forget as this irritates me. Whatever final price you get quoted includes everything. Villas from other companies iv'e rented have seemed slightly cheaper but they end up charging add ons for electricity useage, barbeque gas, and other incidentals. All of this was included in the price quoted for this villa).

we just stayed at this beautiful home for 8 days and let me tell you it was amazing. The home is so pretty and there is everything there you can think of that you would need. Keely was always so helpful through the whole process. The views from the canal are breathtaking at night...we loved the night swims in the pool..My husband says we will rent this again for all our trips to Cape coral...

Keely was helpful and the villa was true to the details, reasonably well equipped, clean and spacious. Small drawbacks like very low levels of lighting in the kitchen and the bedlinen needs replacing - bobbly sheets - otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

Hello Neil,I just wanted to say we had a WONDERFUL stay vacationing at Villa Desoto. This was our first time vacationing in Cape Coral and Neil made the booking experience a very easy one. The pool was perfect to get the energy out of the kids and when they weren't in it, I was able to relax on one of the floats and take in some rays myself. The bed in the Master Bedroom was very comfortable and the home was just quite relaxing all around. We rarely left but a few times to go out for dinner. The Lobster Lady was delicious! We also visited Iguana Mia and the Ford Garage which were ok. There were an abundance of towels which were needed and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I would use in my own home. Overall I would give these guys 5 stars!!! for taking care of me as well as they did. Thank you so very much and I hope to vacation there again soon!!Best regardsEmily

We were delighted with this villa which is located in a peaceful area of Cape Coral. It was exactly as described in the write up and as shown in the photographs. The house was clean and well presented. The only that could be improved upon is the a/C. The pool and deck area benefited from all day sun. Neil handled the minor difficulties we experienced immediately and in a very friendly and efficient manner. We will certainly return.

We have just returned from this lovely villa and our basic feedback is on this site but I wanted to add more. DeSoto is in a wonderful location especially for boating and fishing. We know the area well and used to have a boat here. We hired a boat this time and were able to get out to the Gulf quickly and in to the villa very easily. The dock is wonderful and has two lifts that we would arrange to use if we stay here again, which I hope we do. The pool was clean and very warm and the gardens well maintained. There are a couple of beautiful mature mango trees which provided us with the best fruit we have ever eaten . Inside everything was spotless and modern. I loved everything about the kitchen especially the work tops , I took a picture so I can try to get some the same. There was plenty of linens and towels and an easy to use washer and drier. It was also so nice to stay in a property with some basics in the cupboards. I always hate having to throw things out when we leave, here you know the next person or owners will make use if them. Thankyou so much for renting out your lovely home. We hope to return sooner rather than later. PS the rental firm you use is excellent. They reply to emails very promptly, are not in your face but know they are they should you need them.

This home was perfection and the outside space and views just pure heaven. We have been coming to Florida and staying within a 40 mile radius for many years and this home is the best by far. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral in this House. The home is good equipped in all rooms. We would recommend this house to anybody if their just a couple or a family. Its perfect for everybody. As we had a problem with the aircon we called Keely and they came by the same day to check it out and fixed the problem. Cape Coral is also a nice City where you can reach other Cities easily and go shopping. In the House you also find enough information for eating outside and those were good tips. We really enjoyed are stay and were able to relax and do site seeing as well. Just try it out yourself its worth it.

Such a beautiful home away from home! We couldn't believe how comfortable we were and how most items we brought were already there. We spent most of our time outside and enjoyed the pool and stunning landscaping. The inside has been decorated so well. The area seems low key and that was just what we needed. A concern for us has always been how well you will sleep and what type of bed is in the home. Big relief when we retired that first night in the masters bedroom! What a comfortable mattress that gave us great nights of sleep. I need to find out the make and model! We are looking forward to being able to return. Complements to the owner. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home. Complements to all involved who made the stay so wonderful for us.

My husband and I had the most wonderful relaxing time during our week's stay at the South Facing Yacht Club. The house was beautiful and well equipped. We had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet peaceful surroundings and the pool was perfect! We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai in the morning with our coffee and in the evening with our preferred "beverage." The view was gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing! The master bedroom was wonderful. The king size bed was very comfortable. This was our very first experience with Vrbo/HomeAway. To be honest, we were very apprehensive at first, but we were pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the whole experience. This vacation was definitely one of our most relaxing vacations. We would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for the perfect quiet getaway. The service and attention from the property manager, Keely was outstanding. He was available to answer any questions we had and did so in a very timely manner. Thank you for a memorable vacation!
